When Lala Kent confirmed a friendship-ending fight between herself and Ariana Madix at the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion, fans were shocked. As fans have seen more from Season 11, the fight started to make more sense.
In recent episodes, fans have seen Lala trying to form a friendship with Tom Sandoval; one that he arguably has not earned. While no one can say with certainty just yet, this kinship likely caused the reunion spat.
Ever since the fight came to light, Lala has been on quite the press tour. Meanwhile, Ariana has been rather quiet. Perhaps Lala is hoping to establish a narrative; one that paints Ariana as an egotist.
Lala teases an unprecedented VPR reunion
In a recent interview with E! News, when asked who had the bigger ego between Tom and Ariana, Lala said, “Oh, Ariana’s blowing us all out of the water. Even me! Which is wild.” Mhm. Sure, Jan. However, despite Lala’s newfound beef with Ariana, she could still give credit where it was due. Regarding who should have custody of the dog, Mya, Lala conceded, “Ariana.”
And, of course, there was some discussion about the reunion. “I think you’re getting a brand-new Lala,” she teased. “And the reunion; they’ve done something that they’ve never done before, and it was genius and so uncomfortable.”
Scheana Shay made a similar declaration – that something unprecedented would happen at the reunion. Lala added, “Just thinking about it, my heart is pounding.”
Speaking of Scheana, Lala discussed whether she was making Scandoval all about her. “I don’t think she’s being dramatic,” Lala said. “Sometimes she misses the mark just a tad … I understand where she’s coming from. She’s not trying to make it about herself, she’s trying to come from a place of [understanding].”
