Alexis Bellino is setting the record straight on her newfound friendship with Shannon Beador’s ex.

“John Janssen and I are two people who met by happenstance,” Bellino tells Page Six exclusively.

“We are discovering that we’re in similar places in our lives, as divorced parents both emerging from recent heartbreak because of relationships ending.”

The former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star says any speculation that they are more than “new acquaintances” would be “very inaccurate.”

“I look forward to hanging out with my new friend,” she adds.

Bellino, 46, also tells us that her one-time run-in with Janssen had nothing to do with Beador, 59, because she does not know her.

“Other than one incident in which I witnessed her shouting obscenities at me from across a restaurant, immediately prior to her very unfortunate arrest, Shannon Beador and I have never worked together or interacted,” Bellino shares, referring to the hours leading up to Beador’s DUI in September.

A source close to Beador, however, tells us that despite the Bellino-Janssen dinner involving a big group of people, the Bravolebrity is reeling over her ex’s actions.

“Shannon is absolutely devastated that John would spend time with Alexis, knowing how much pain and hundreds of thousands of dollars the lawsuit her ex-husband filed caused her,” our insider shares, referring to Jim Bellino’s 2019 defamation suit against Beador.

“This just shows Shannon how fame-hungry he is. John was only using her to be in the spotlight.”

Our insider says Beador believes Janssen broke up with her “the second the cameras went down.”

“Now he’s cozying up to another ‘Housewife.’ He’s the new Slade Smiley,” the source says, referring to the man who dated a few Bravolebrities before settling down with Gretchen Rossi.

We’re told Beador no longer wants anything to do with Alexis — especially after the former “Housewife” allegedly “ran to the press” to claim that the current cast member was “bitching” about her before Beador’s arrest.

“Shannon wasn’t even on the show with Alexis and has been nothing but kind to her,” our source says.

“Alexis is obviously desperate to get back on the show and is using Alexis to do it.”

Reps for Beador didn’t immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.

Alexis’ friend Ricky Santana posted a series of group photos Sunday — one of which showed Janssen smiling next to Alexis with his arm around her back.

Alexis’ rep, Spencer Lubitz, previously told Page Six exclusively that was the first time the two had met and that they had bonded over having “so much in common.”
