In the last few years, the Las Vegas Raiders have been a team that disgruntled players come to when they are upset with their team. In a recent example, cornerback Jack Jones, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, and defensive tackle Adam Butler all came to the Raiders from the New England Patriots.

Every one of them was disgruntled in some way. But when they got to the Raiders, they saw things were done differently. That’s how the franchise is run, along with the coaches, front office, etc.
Recently, the Patriots had another player leave after spending a few years with the franchise in quarterback Mac Jones. Could he have played better? Of course, but he was, in a way, forced out of town and signed a new deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars to be the backup behind Trevor Lawrence.
Now, Jones is on Twitter sending shots at his former team. It’s a lot to type out, so just take a look for yourself:
Jones did not end things well in New England. He had a few good years there, but he felt he was not used right and didn’t fit in well with the culture and system there. Now, he is shooting shots at his former head coach, too.
We have heard Jakobi Meyers say he is upset with how they didn’t bring him back in free agency and chose JuJu Smith-Schuster instead. Adam Butler was upset that Bill Belichick didn’t shake his hand after a game they played against one another.
A lot of stuff has been coming out about the Patriots the last few years that makes you believe that is why Belichick is no longer a coach despite being the greatest of all time. This just goes to show how well the Raiders care about their players. You don’t often, if ever, hear about guys complaining about the shield when they leave.
