The drama of Jesse Solomon’s decision to flirt with Paige DeSorbo reverberates as Summer House Season 8 continues. The newbie Bravolebrity put his hand on Paige’s knee, among other modes of flirtation throughout the season despite knowing that the fashion contributor is in a long-distance romance with Craig Conover.
Despite feeling uncomfortable about the breach in her physical space barrier, Paige also downplayed Jesse’s flirting. Certainly, her Southern Charm boyfriend didn’t feel threatened by the NYC-based financier. They even sat down to a meal together on the latest episode of Summer House during which Kyle Cooke jokingly brought up Jesse’s flirting.
So looking back on it, how did the Bravolebrity perceive the flirting? And has she processed it differently since watching the show?
No need for Paige to “pack it in” just yet
During the Summer House After Show, Paige joked that being on the receiving end of Jesse’s attention proved to her that she’s still “got it.”
First, Paige wasn’t embarrassed or upset with Kyle for bringing up the flirting at the dinner table. Unlike Kyle’s wife, Amanda Batula, the reality TV star took it all in stride.
“I then and now, still wasn’t mad at Kyle for doing that,” she stated. “Craig should know that other men hit on me. That’s something that he should know daily.”
Ultimately, it was a net plus for Paige, who joked that she got confirmation of her continued desirability at the ripe old age of 31.
“If no one hit on me all summer I would cry. Like I would pack it in. I’d be like, ‘and that’s it. It’s over for me. I’ve hit 31 and I’m done.’ So I’m thankful. I was like, ‘Oh my god thanks.’”
So no damage was done. Craig and Paige are still going strong, and continue to navigate their long-distance love.
