Monica Garcia took to her Instagram Story this week to reveal that she purchased a new BMW with her earnings from Cameo.
In a series of posts shared to her social media account, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum told her haters to “stay mad” as she also gave a nod to her mom Linda’s decision to take and sell her former vehicle, a Range Rover she listed online for sale earlier this year.
“Me: Driving my brand new car with the money that Cameo helped pay for. Stay mad,” Monica wrote in the caption of a March 26 post, re-shared by Best of Bravo on Instagram.
Monica also included a few peace fingers emojis as she gave the middle finger to her critics.
In a second post, as she confirmed that the vehicle she bought was a BMW, Monica took aim at her mom, who she feuded with throughout her time on RHOSLC season four.
“Now someone ask LD if she’s been able to sell my range yet,” she told her online fans and followers.
In January, after it was confirmed that she would not be returning to RHOSLC for season five following the reveal of her involvement with a troll account against the cast, Monica addressed her departure during an interview with Pride.
“I’m okay! The fan reaction is being seen and heard. You guys are fighting so hard. It’s making a huge difference. There has been an uproar in the series of events that have taken place. It’s not going unnoticed. I’m so grateful,” she said. “The fans were clearly captivated by the whole season, and that’s all you can ask for.”
While Monica brought plenty of drama to season four, Lisa Barlow, 49, believes the show’s upcoming fifth season, which will reportedly include new cast members Britani Bateman and Meili Workman, will be even better.
“I feel like this year might be our best year ever, just based on what I’ve seen and heard and how things are going so far,” she told PEOPLE in February. “I actually think it’s going to be the most iconic season ever.”
“I think what makes a show so good is when you stay vulnerable, the issues are still real,” she continued. “We always have someone new coming to mix things up, but then there’s still other issues that surface from the year prior that you have to address. So I feel like just based on what I’ve experienced, I think the season’s going to be, ‘Wow,’ in a totally different way.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season five is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
