Porsha Williams confirmed she will return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta after stepping away for several seasons.
It’s official! Porsha Williams will return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the upcoming Season 16 of the series.
“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” Porsha said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!”

A press release announcing the news added even more details about what’s next for Porsha on Bravo and beyond:
“Bravo announces that Porsha Williams Guobadia will make her highly anticipated return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 16. She has also entered into an overall scripted talent deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment. Under the terms of the deal, Williams Guobadia will partner exclusively with NBCUniversal Entertainment for scripted project opportunities across the company’s broadcast and streaming properties. As a fan-favorite, she previously spent nine seasons as part of the hit franchise from Seasons 5 through 13.”
Porsha joined RHOA in Season 5. During her time on the show, fans watched Porsha search for love again following her divorce from her first husband, Kordell Stewart, grow into an entrepreneur and media personality, become a leading voice for social justice, find love again when she married Simon Guobadia, as well as become a mom to her daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley, whom she co-parents with her ex, Dennis McKinley.
Porsha’s return to RHOA was confirmed on Tuesday, Feb 13. Rachel Smith, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentaries, NBCUniversal Entertainment added in a statement: “Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership. Our audience has supported and admired Porsha as she so authentically, hilariously and vulnerably shared her life over the years and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her back to the NBCU family.”
The news comes weeks after Kandi Burruss confirmed her exit from RHOA. “I decided I’m not coming back this year,” Kandi told Variety while walking the red carpet at the 2024 Grammy Awards. “I’m going to take a break, I’m going to take a moment… I’m not coming back this year.”
